Welcome to “My Month with Lumo Back”
As one of the newest members of the awesome Lumo team, I’m getting to experience all of the joys (and minor frustrations) of life with Lumo Back, just like any other new user. Over the next month, I’ll be blogging about my experiences and progress. Join me in my journey and let us know how my experience compares to your own first month with Lumo!
Let me start by introducing myself: I’m a recent college graduate, former athlete, California native, and dessert lover. I have struggled with back pain since my teens, resulting from my time as a competitive rower, and have tried countless methods of pain relief to varying degrees of success.
I am also a fairly active person, but have noticed that my activity has become increasingly isolated to intense workouts as I’ve transitioned to an office job and California’s driving-centric culture. In contrast, I walked everywhere while in college and during the year that I spent living in Asia after graduation.
I’m hoping that Lumo Back will help me to improve my posture and reduce my back pain, while helping me to monitor and limit my seated time and encouraging me to take more steps every day.
