Lumo Lift and Validic Partner to Introduce Posture Coaching to Corporate Wellness

We are excited to announce the integration of our digital posture and activity coach, Lumo Lift with Validic, the corporate wellness healthcare platform.

Validic is the healthcare industry’s leading cloud-based, digital health platform for convenient and quick access to patient data from in-home clinical devices, wearables and patient healthcare applications. The platform connects its growing base of customers, including healthcare providers, payers, wellness companies and health IT vendors, to digital health technologies to coordinate better care across communities and patient populations.

The integration of the Lumo Lift into Validic’s health platform allows corporate wellness and ergonomics leaders to easily introduce Lumo Lift as a tool to empower people to lead a healthier lifestyle by encouraging better posture in the workplace.

As ValidicImage2the creators of Lumo Lift, we are familiar with the role posture plays in health and productivity; poor posture is related to a variety of health problems including back, neck, spine, organ, muscle, and joint ailments, and leads to missed work days, lost productivity, and costly disability claims. Due to the popularity of the Lumo Lift we now have the largest posture database in the world, and our aggregate data has yielded some interesting insights. For example, on average during the work day, people only spend about 35% of their time in good posture — this translates into only 22 minutes of good posture and as much as 38 minutes of poor posture every hour!

With such data to support the need of straightening up our posture in the workplace, we are excited to become a part of Validic’s digital health ecosystem to allow for the Lumo Lift to become the tool for success for both office workers and corporations in productivity and in health.
