CES 2014 Wrap-Up

CES 2014 Wrap-Up

Last week, we debuted our new product, Lumo Lift, during the Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES. Our team of co-founders spent the week demoing Lumo Lift and Lumo Back at our booth, while scoping out all of the amazing new products on display at the massive show. Some say that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but we’re here with the inside scoop!

Monisha-charles-CESFirst of all, thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our booth. There was amazing energy and we were totally blown away by the response. We loved showing off the Lumo Lift’s capabilities but were also thrilled to introduce many people to Lumo Back for the first time. We also gave a sneak peek of what our technology can do in the future by demoing Lumo’s ability to monitor your yoga posture as you flow through planks and downward dogs.

Additionally, we are very grateful to everyone who wrote about us and supported our crowd-funding campaign for Lumo Lift. We’ve more than doubled our funding goal in less than ten days, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

CES 2014 was full of wearable tech devices, and it is always great to see more attention and energy focused into this space. There is already so much brilliant innovation in the wearable tech world and CES foreshadowed more amazing things to come in 2014. We can’t wait to see what’s next and look forward to trying out lots of new gizmos and gadgets!

Finally, we were so honored to win GottaBeMobile’s “Best in Show” award for Lumo Lift. The competition was stiff and we were thrilled to be recognized from a pool of large and formidable companies.

It was certainly a whirlwind week in Vegas! We’re now back in our Palo Alto offices, hard at work as we continue to innovate and strive to create the best possible products to help you stand tall and lead a happier, healthier life.

All the best,

The Lumo Team
