Dear Lumo Lift community,
First of all, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support of Lumo Lift. We have been thrilled and humbled by the tremendous response we have received.
That said, I know that the process of crowd-funding and pre-orders has had numerous frustrations, both for us and for our customers. Due to the high demand for Lumo Lift, we experienced several unexpected and unavoidable delays. We really did try to release timelines that we thought were accurate, but were not able to fully predict everything that goes into the building of a brand new product.
In the spirit of transparency, we have hit a couple of glitches with some of the components of our remaining Lumo Lift orders. One problem affected specific sensor colors, which is why some of you have not received your order despite being among our earliest supporters. We want to make sure that we ship you the best possible product, rather than something that might not meet our high quality standards. As a result, we have had to delay our shipment of your Lumo Lifts.
However, we are pleased to announce that we have found solutions to the issues at hand and are moving into production for these remaining orders. Your Lumo Lift will ship within the next 3-5 weeks.
We hope that you can accept our sincere apologies for the frustration that this has caused.
